About Dr. Martrano
Dr. Melinda R. Martrano was born in San Diego, CA, and grew up in Elizabethtown, PA. She completed her undergraduate education in Boston, Massachusetts, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Boston University in 2014. Dr. Melinda Martrano then obtained a Master of Science in Medical Physiology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH in 2016. Following this, she completed her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, OH in 2020.
Her postgraduate training included a three-year podiatric medicine and surgical residency in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at the VA San Francisco, where she served as chief resident in her third year. Dr. Melinda Martrano's training encompassed all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including limb salvage, trauma, pediatrics, and rearfoot reconstruction.
Dr. Melinda Martrano is currently Board Qualified in Foot Surgery with the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and California Podiatric Medical Association.
In her personal time, she enjoys traveling with her fiancé. Her hobbies include cooking and baking.
