About Janelle
Janelle Spears is a certified physician assistant at Northern California Orthopaedic Associates and a graduate of the Stanford Physician Assistant Primary Care Associate Program in 2016. While at Stanford, Janelle obtained her Master’s degree in medical science in conjunction with Saint Francis University and gained a wide breadth of clinical experience, including inpatient rotations at Stanford Hospital and a surgical rotations at Mercy General Hospital. Prior to her professional training, Janelle graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior.
Janelle is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the California Academy of Physician Assistants.
Janelle works alongside Dr. James, Dr. Le, Dr. Cerruti, and Dr. Jackson in providing quality clinical and surgical care in general orthopedics, sports medicine, trauma, foot and ankle reconstruction and joint replacement.
Janelle was born and raised in the Philippines, and currently lives in the Sacramento area. In her free time, she enjoys taking strolls with her husband around McKinley Park, rooting on her three time World Series Champion San Francisco Giants, traveling around the world and trying new cuisine.
